BA Graduation collection: These ‘R’ Mine – A/W 18/19
The collection is inspired from Hoarding (in children), a pattern of behaviour characterised by excessive acquisition and an inability or unwillingness to discard large quantities of objects. The garments show this through a progression of the silhouette and design elements.
The garments are constructed using textile waste, dead-stock fabric, and fabric swatches collected over the course of six semesters. Along with pre-consumer waste upcycling, post-consumer waste, like worn out coats and discarded jackets is used to create new garments.
